Article in Accounting and Tax Information Portal (RMP), Law Firm ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law and partner Annika Vait wrote about the possibility and requirements of written proceedings in Labour Dispute Committee.

Annika explains that the law permits a written proceeding in the Labour Dispute Commitee on two occasions. First, if a person against whom a claim is filed admits the claim in full. Second, when it is a monetary claim that does not exceed 6400 euros.

Annika also gives a short overview of the requirements of written proceedings. For example, a party can apply to be heard in a session even in case of written proceedings. Also, the party has the right to refuse written proceedings.
