Register a company along with registering employees and value added tax liability in the Company Registration Portal

ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law and partner Annika Vait writes in her legal blog post that upon foundation of a company it is possible to register employees and value added tax liability in the Company Registration Portal.

In the beginning of this year, a compact solution was created that allows to register company’s value added tax liability and employees of the company upon foundation of the company in the Company Registration Portal. The possibility for companies to register this information in Tax and Customs Board, incl e-Tax/e-Customs portal will also remain.

Therefore, upon foundation of a company in the Company Registration Portal it is possible to decide whether to register value added tax liability and employees of the company at the same time or do it later through Tax and Customs Board.
