New conferences ahead!

This autumn our good cooperation partner Addenda is offering several trainings for self-education, where Law Firm ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law Epp Lumiste is one of the presenters.  

 

CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT – NEW DIRECTIONS

 

Trainings about the new law entering into force, explaining the new regulations in two auditoriums at the same time, one for tenderers and the other one for contracting authorities. 

There are several presenters, such as lawmakers, Estonian best attorneys in the field of public procurement, lawyers and public procurement experts. 

 

The purpose of this conference is to: 

– Provide an overview of the new law and its most important amendments for contracting authorities.

– Provide an overview of the new law and its most important amendments for tenderers.

– Provide a comparison between the new law and the old law! 

– Give an insight of recent case law.

 

ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law Epp Lumiste is explaining whether the new Public Procurement Act incurs fundamental changes in evaluating the tenders and which are the differences between Public Procurement Act and EU directives. Epp is also giving recommendations on how to draw up a tender that is obtained the highest possible score.

FINANTSTREFF 2017!

 

FinantsTreff 2017 is the highlight event in the field of finance and accounting, where participants are introduced a broad variety of actual topics, given instructions from practitioners and provided information for everyday activities. 

The event gathers Estonian best auditors, tax experts and attorneys who are sharing their knowledge. 

 

The purpose of the conference is to:

– Speak about the amendments that are expected in the entire field of accounting.

– The remarks of auditors and their recommendations for the upcoming annual report.

– Parallel auditoriums are divided for actual juridical issues and accounting issues, special presentations for CEO-s and members of management boards are to be held. 

 

ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law Epp Lumiste is providing an overview of the tax liabilities when an Estonian employer is sending an employee to a business trip abroad. Also about which are the main amendments when hiring aliens and transferring employees within concerns. Epp is explaining what the Estonian employer definitely has to take into consideration when hiring an alien. Which special requirements are applying when using temporary agency work.
