Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs has evolved changes to simplify the regulation of under-age working. ALTERNA´s attorney-at-law Annika Vait and lawyer Liisa Orav have given in the recent article of Äripäev, an overview about the main planned changes as well among others their explanations and comments to planned changes.

ALTERNA´s lawyers are explaining in the article, that the current regulation of under-age working is stricter than the European Union´s directive requires and it has created the situation where the companies are avoiding the recruitment of the minors. Likewisely, the recommendations are given to the parents of working children to be aware of the working conditions of the children and also of the working documentation.
