Law Firm ALTERNA’s lawyer Kristena Paalmäe’s master thesis defended in Tartu University School of Law was recognised with third place at the research contest by the Ministry of Justice. Congratulations!

Kristena wrote her thesis about „Right to data portability in the General Data Protection Regulation“. Law Firm ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law Annika Vait co-supervised the thesis.

Head of the evaluation committee of the Ministry of Justice, Kai Härmand emphazised that three best theses of the contest were accurate and substantial: „All three theses were equally good – problems were thoroughly assessed and the results were scientifically credible.“
