Annika says that while most of Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate’s guidances are still being updated due to EU General Data Processing Regulation 2016/679, the new guidance on processing personal data is helpful for general matters.

This guidance is about processing personal data and is addressed to all controllers of personal data, including entrepreneurs and public institutions. It is helpful for understanding the terms related to processing personal data and for understanding the main obligations of controllers of personal data.
