In shops and common areas of shopping centres must be followed the 2 + 2 rule – not more than two people may move together and keep a distance of at least two metres from the others. The restriction does not apply to families moving together and in situations where this cannot be reasonably ensured.

New restrictions for sales and service halls of catering companies:

A maximum of 10 people can move together, keeping a distance of at least 2 meters from the others. The restriction does not apply to families moving together and in situations where this cannot be reasonably ensured;

– Between 00:00 and 06:00, customers are not served on site, except to buy food or provide courier and transport services. This restriction does not apply to service stations if the service provider ensures that customers do not consume food or drink on site;

– Availability of disinfectants;

– Compliance with disinfection requirements in accordance with the instructions of the Health Board;

– Airports, aircraft and ports are exempted from the above.

New restrictions for entertainment establishments:

– groups of up to 10 people are allowed and a distance of at least two metres must be kept with others (as an exemption, does not apply in children playrooms). The restriction does not apply to families moving together and in situations where this cannot be reasonably ensured.

– A maximum visitor capacity of 50%;

– Entertainment establishments must close their doors to visitors from midnight to 6 a.m.

– Availability of disinfectants;

– Compliance with disinfection requirements in accordance with the instructions of the Health Board.

New restrictions for indoor public meetings, public events, including conferences, theatre performances, concerts and cinema screenings, where persons are provided stationary seats:

– Maximum amount of participants is 750 people;

– Up to 10 people can move togetherand a distance of at least two metres must be kept with others. The restriction does not apply to families moving together and in situations where this cannot be reasonably ensured;

– Availability of disinfectants;

– Compliance with disinfection requirements in accordance with the instructions of the Health Board.

The new restrictions will enter into force on Monday, 16 November 2020.
