ALTERNA’s good cooperation partner Addenda is soon holding a conference on public procurement, which subject is the new Public Procurement Act that entered into force on 1 September 2017. It is the highlight event in the field of public procurement, which gathers lawmakers, Estonian best attorneys in the field of public procurement, lawyers and public procurement experts. 

The purpose of this conference is to provide an overview of the new law and its most important amendments for both contracting authorities and tenderers, compare the new law and the old law, and give an insight of recent case law.

One of the presenters is ALTERNA’s attorney-at-law Epp Lumiste, who is explaining whether the new Public Procurement Act incurs fundamental changes in evaluating the tenders and which are the differences between Public Procurement Act and EU directives. Epp is also explaining the evaluation criterias of a tender and giving recommendations on how to draw up a tender that is obtained the highest possible score.
