Annika stated that concrete law changes will mostly improve possibilities of Estonian start-up companies for involving foreign investments. Considering the proportion of private limited companies among Estonian companies, the changes should also increase general reliability of Estonian business landscape.

Annika pointed out that these concrete amendments are still a fast solution to a narrow problem and it is important that Ministry of Justice would continue work with modernizing the Commercial Code. As the act is valid since 1995 and has been amended for many times, it has become outdated in several aspects and is difficult to follow for entrepreneurs.
